I recently rewatched the AG episode where Ash gets possessed by the spirit of the king of Pokelantis, and thought I'd draw an XY Ash version of it.
I'm so upset that the anime didn't decide to reference the second most famous role of Ash's Japanese VA Rica Matsumoto, that being Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh! Instead they used the king's own voice. Oh well, twas still cool.

Ash does gets possessed by shadow hoopa in Hoopa and The Clash of Ages movie so I see the connection. 😄👍
